Black Onyx is black in colour but will sometimes have some white banding. Onyx is thought to promote strength and stamina in the wearer and is believed deflect or absorb the negativity of others. Black onyx has been used since Greek and Roman times. The name comes from the Greek word for "nail" and refers to a myth about Venus' fingernail clippings being turned to stone so they would not decay.
The length of the bracelet is 217mm including a carabiner clasp.The width of the stone is 19mm, height 19mm, depth 8mm. All measurements are approximate and measured at widest/longest point.
